Not too much can be said, or is even known about The Pine. Hailing from Bakersfield, CA, they formed in 1998, released a few full-lengths, a split with The Saddest Landscape, and an EP or two. Shuffling around the best local record store in my town (Rock N' Roll Graveyard), I came across The Pine's legendary first release. Here is their self titled album.
